Dr. Bevill joined the University Pulmonary and Critical Care (UPCC) team in 2019 and has greatly enjoyed his work in Knoxville, Tennessee. He began his medical journey with undergraduate and medical studies in Mississippi, followed by intensive postgraduate training in South Carolina, where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship. Dr. Bevill brings a wide range of interests to his field, and his role at the University of Tennessee Medical Center has allowed him to pursue these diverse passions. Notably, he was crucial in founding the UT ECMO program, establishing this advanced life-support service for critically ill patients in East Tennessee. His clinical expertise particularly shines in diagnosing and treating lung cancer, which is a primary focus of his practice. Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Bevill actively influences healthcare through his administrative positions at UT. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and is an avid football fan.
