Dr. Bobby Howard is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He completed medical school and his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Dr. Howard completed his Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. After completing his fellowship, he served as Chief of the Antenatal Diagnostic Center at Madigan Army Medical Center and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington. Dr. Howard is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. In August of 2007, Dr. Howard joined the faculty of the University of Tennessee Medical Center as Associate Professor and served as Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He also served as Chairman of Obstetrics & Gynecology from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Howard is a member of several professional organizations including the Christian Medical Dental Association, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
