I enjoy spending time with my parents and children. We have a small farm and animals. My love of animals developed during my childhood being raised around horses.
I am a local now working in my own community. I worked at UT for 7 years in trauma/ED and critical care for a little or 1 year. I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in 2019 at King University in Bristol TN. The focus of my research was on diabetic retinopathy, therefore I spent many hours researching type 2 diabetes. I treat many patients for the condition in addition to weight loss and other chronic illness. I enjoy treating those diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and have helped many maintain an A1C that lowers the risk of complications.
